PhotoFormatLab is a free, browser-based image conversion tool. All image processing occurs entirely within your web browser using client-side technologies. No files are uploaded to or processed on our servers. The Service allows you to convert, compress, and resize images between various formats including HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and PDF.
3. Privacy & Data
Your images and files are never transmitted to our servers. All processing happens locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or have access to any files you convert. We use minimal analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand aggregate site usage. No personal data is tied to your image conversion activity. 4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the content of the images you convert. You may not use the Service to process images that violate applicable laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, or contain illegal content. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the images you convert using the Service. PhotoFormatLab does not claim any ownership or license over your content. The PhotoFormatLab name, logo, website design, and code are the property of PhotoFormatLab and may not be reproduced without permission.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversion results will meet your specific requirements. Image quality, file size, and format compatibility may vary depending on your browser, device, and the source image.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoFormatLab and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your device. Since all processing occurs in your browser, you are responsible for ensuring your device has adequate resources (memory, storage) for the conversions you perform.
8. Advertising
The Service is supported by non-intrusive display advertising provided by third-party ad networks. These ads may use cookies and similar technologies as governed by their own privacy policies. Ad content is provided by third parties and does not constitute endorsement by PhotoFormatLab.
